these are 3 of the 5 that i did.

the cookie one was started before cohen was born.

2 others still need journaling, so i havent scanned them yet. (yes erin, i still havent done it yet... lol)

cohen is 4 months old tomorrow, so ill probably have more new pics to share soon!

no time to blog.

ive had no real time to sit down and write on here.

i scrapped friday night!! yeah!
we got a new stove and fridge!! yeah!
lilly has a splint on her arm from falling off her bike! boo! (but yeah! that it is isnt broken)
next week starts back to a houseful of kids!! yeah! and yikes!!

ok... that was a quick update.
maybe someday, ill have time to post more :)

vacation.

last week was our annual lakeside vacation.
im just now getting back to my 'normal' life, whatever that is.

ive realized that doing things that make other people happy, is what makes me most happy.

like...

-making a meal for new parents so they can put there time elsewhere besides cooking
-sending pictures in the mail
-giving away free stuff on my blog (which i plan to do again soon!)
-letting a neighbor have a stamp so she doesnt have to load up her 3 kids (age 2 and under) and go to the store
-writing thank you letters
-loaning my maternity clothes (a lot of which is handed down to me) so someone else can enjoy them
-having sales and specials over at MP
-playing with playdoh, coloring, drawing with chalk, and reading books.... all day long
-saying thank you for the little things (and the big things)

The Cup.

Today I got to scrap with one of my great friends :) YEAH!!
It was soooo nice to finally scrap again and spend time with a friend!

While I was there Dave called and said they were headed to my Aunt's house. Of course he wouldn't tell me why, as he likes to torture me with surprises.

My Aunt had called Dave to tell him that something special was making a visit to her neighborhood.

When I got home Lilly kept saying "We got to see a trophy".

life is tough. but good,

some of the things on my t0-do list.
-write thank you cards (gifts are still coming! cohen is one lucky little man!)
-pay bills (so grateful we are able to, even if it is paycheck to paycheck)
-sort through pictures (ones we took, and more taken by dave's co-worker)
-laundry (as always)
-fill out lilly's preschool paper work (oh my!!)
-get stuff ready to scrap with erin this weekend (yahoo!!)

some of the things from last week...
-i gave lilly her 1st hair cut (and it looks decent! ill add a pic at the end)
-lilly had her 1st gymnastics class (and LOVED it!)
-went to a bday party an hour and a half early on accident (got to see my 'other' kids... miss them a bunch)
-another fancy photo shoot of the kiddos. (ill share those soon i hope)

im sure ive failed to mention 'everything' that has happened since i last wrote.

on each of our wedding anniversaries, we take a family picture. it's been fun to watch our family grow from 2, to 3, and now... to 4!

usually dave sets up the tripod and runs back just before the camera clicks. the 'timer-and- run' pictures have worked just fine so far, but this year we were very fortunate to have one of dave's co-workers take some professional family photos. i am so excited to have such wonderful pictures :)

just some pictures.
my computer time is pretty much non existant anymore.

still here.
still very pregnant.
taking a new approach and enjoying this time rather than being bummed that Fin doesn't seem to want out early as did his/her sister.
trying to walk a lot. not helping much.
(besides giving me shooting pains in places that noone should ever have to feel shooting pains)

my sister sent us surprise dinner and dessert on tuesday.
from iacono's. a local italian restraurant. YUM. delicious.
and cookie sandwiches from cookies by design.
now those should be illegal to a person trying not to grow a 10 pound baby.

in lilly news...
she has been accepted into our school district's preschool program as a peer model! we are very excited and proud of her!

to be honest i was a bit nervous about her getting in as she was just over the birthday line, and they only had 15 spots left for the school year, and were interviewing/observing 36 kids that day. not to mention that when she came back from the hour and a half observation she had marker all over her face :) from 'smelling' the markers. i take total credit for that as i had her smell an orange flavored one of ours just a few days earlier... see, she does listen after all!!

ok... well, i think im going to send dave out for ice cream (enjoying that part of still being pregnant) and we are going to catch up on some TV that we have taped. our friday nights are the best :)

time really does go by too fast.

spring!!

but cant expect too much living in ohio.

itll probably snow next weekend.

enjoyed 'spring break' last week.

miss L and i were running around quite a bit, then coming home to nap.

loved it.

other stuff that went on...

-lilly's 3 year apoointment.

-OB appointment.

-orthodontist appintment.

-trip to the dentist with daddy so lilly knows what itll be like for her first cleaning.

-had the walls in the basement reinforced. (goodbye tax return).

-cat sat for the neighbors.

-lots of little shopping errands.

i think that is about it... besides the BEST part for me :)

i got a pedicure, haircut, and eyebrow waxing.

made me feel so nice and special.

this week is spring break... so i get a bit of a 'break' (if that is possible).

had an OB appointment and an orthodontist appointment today.
also did some easter basket shopping at the dollar tree.
fun stuff.

took lilly to a big sister class/tour at the hosiptal last weekend.
she did so well. it was a lot of fun for all of us.

did too much shopping this weekend, spent too much money.
i got 4 awesome nursing bras that i am very excited about!
and a new diaper bag.
and a giganto bottle of dreft detergent.
and a new laundry basket for fin's room.
and a boy coming home outfit.
(still on the lookout for a girl outfit... go figure)

got lilly a very cute hot pink swivel top trash can for her room.


fin still remains fin.
names this time around are so challenging...
im so sad that we dont have them set in stone already.
i feel so guilty.
the name isnt going to 'hit' us... it would have by now, i am sure.

we knew lilly's name in 1999. ha!
(for real, we did...)

here is what we came up with this year :)

we went to my grandma's for a lesson.
grandma makes the BEST jam.
ours is good... but not as good as grandma's.
we will keep trying :)
