I'm having a 'black' friday sale at the store... actually it's now through Saturday, check out the details here or here.

I made the BIG candy corn hat for Mr. A (the custodian) at Lilly's school. (Thanks to Daddy for being a sport in being my model!) Mr. A was wearing his hat Tuesday when I picked the kids up, so that made me smile!! The little hat was a garage sale find when Lilly was a baby...

The fang! (The pic is blurry but you get the point!) The boy now has 5 teeth (2 came in at once a few days ago)... so I had to get a picture before the other ones come in more.

Here is one of my pumpkin rolls. I think I've made about 12 this season :)

a post for me!

when cohen was born we got the most adorable burp cloth with his name embroidered on it. as soon as i saw it, i wanted to be able to make my own.

well, i did something special for myself.
i bought myself a 'little' toy.

-folded 4 loads of laundry
-made pumpkin soup

-made 2 trips to meijer

now ill try to stay up to watch my normal sunday nigh TV. sleep may be more appetizing.

so, ive had a really rough week.
just down in the dumps, and finding it real hard to get back to my 'normal' self. having a hard time knowing what my 'normal' self is really.

but... 2 things did make me smile big yesterday.

1. flowers from my sister
2. a 220 quantity box of my favorite diapers for $17.11 (that comes to less than 8 cents a diaper... and those of you who buy diapers know what an awesome steal that is!! and those of you who know how cheap i am know how happy that makes me!!)

hey... you have to find happiness where you can ;)

to blog or not to blog.

im having thoughts of giving this blog the boot.

just too much going on right now.

i also have laundry to do, and bills to pay.... and sleep. yes sleep is nice.

ive had no real time to sit down and write on here.

i scrapped friday night!! yeah!
we got a new stove and fridge!! yeah!
lilly has a splint on her arm from falling off her bike! boo! (but yeah! that it is isnt broken)
next week starts back to a houseful of kids!! yeah! and yikes!!

ok... that was a quick update.
maybe someday, ill have time to post more :)

vacation.

last week was our annual lakeside vacation.
im just now getting back to my 'normal' life, whatever that is.

ive realized that doing things that make other people happy, is what makes me most happy.

like...

-making a meal for new parents so they can put there time elsewhere besides cooking
-sending pictures in the mail
-giving away free stuff on my blog (which i plan to do again soon!)
-letting a neighbor have a stamp so she doesnt have to load up her 3 kids (age 2 and under) and go to the store
-writing thank you letters
-loaning my maternity clothes (a lot of which is handed down to me) so someone else can enjoy them
-having sales and specials over at MP
-playing with playdoh, coloring, drawing with chalk, and reading books.... all day long
-saying thank you for the little things (and the big things)
